After launching in Oregon in 2014, Ex Novo Brewing Co. made the bold move to New Mexico in 2019—and hasn’t looked back. With a taproom and brewing facility in Corrales and a multi-concept location in downtown Albuquerque, Ex Novo blends small-town hospitality with a growing distribution footprint.

Corrales isn’t just a taproom—it’s also home to a two-acre seasonal beer garden, where servers are constantly on the move. With a small team and no QR codes in sight, speed and flexibility are crucial. “We were super short-staffed,” says Marketing Manager Sarah Turner. “We needed a system that let us run around with handhelds, grab orders on the go, and still deliver a great guest experience.”

They keep working when the internet doesn’t. “Corrales is a small town with spotty internet,” Turner explains. “But Arryved’s offline mode has never let us down. We can still start and close tabs without missing a beat.”

Web & POS Integration That Saves Time

Ex Novo originally made the switch to Arryved Web Solutions after frustrations with its previous SquareSpace site and a lack of integration with its Clover POS system.

The goal: a better-looking site that’s easier to manage—and one that seamlessly connects to their POS.

That integration has been a major win, especially for limited beer releases and merch. “It’s just me doing merch management across both locations,” Turner says. “Having everything synced prevents overselling and helps with reordering.”

From launch to ongoing management, Turner says working with Arryved has been nothing but positive. “Sally has saved my a$$ so many times,” she laughs. “The whole support team is responsive, helpful, and always willing to walk me through something. Future Plans

With steady growth in Corrales and online merch sales up an estimated 25%, Turner is eager to expand what’s working. She’s planning a refresh of the online store offerings—and hopes to continue to expand usage with Arryved. “It’s been such a strong part of our success in Corrales,” she says. “I’d absolutely recommend [Arryved] to others.”
