What is your favorite part of working for Arryved?
Can I choose two things? Number one: The quality of the people I work with – my coworkers are a truly wonderful group of people: smart, interesting, caring, driven, funny, and very hardworking. Number two: My job is connected to BEER! Talking about beer or googling an interesting new brewery is TOTALLY considered work related… (:
Interesting fact about you?
I was a Spanish teacher for 10 years before embarking on this career change to the tech industry! I love traveling and studying foreign languages, and I hope that continues to be an important part of my life.
If you could be a superhero, what would your superpower be?
Hmmm, there are far too many to choose from. Flying would be pretty sweet, but the ability to soothe people’s emotional woes would be pretty wonderful to be able to do.
What is your desert island beverage?
My go to beers are definitely New England IPAs, but for a desert island, I think I’d probably choose a very thirst quenching prickly pear margarita! (The ones that the Shed restaurant in Santa Fe serves up are pure heaven)
Do you have a work pet peeve?
I mostly work in the warehouse, so I think my main work pet peeve would be that I miss connecting with coworkers!
What do you do to stay sane?
I’ve been homebrewing for 12 years, but gardening has recently started to move higher up the ranks. What a soothing activity. I also enjoy getting outside in any fashion – camping, skiing, biking, hiking, etc.
What is one thing you would choose to do every day for the rest of your life?
Drink beer outside with friends (:
